Economic Development Grants for Building Pad Construction

TVA has completed environmental assessments (EA) and issued findings of no significant impact (FONSI) for proposals to provide Economic Development grants at three sites in Mississippi and Alabama.  The grants would be given to the Prentiss County Development Association in Prentiss County Mississippi; to the Grenada County Economic Development District in Grenada County Mississippi; and to the City of Fort Payne in DeKalb County Alabama.  The grants would be used for the construction of earthen building pads and associated facilities within existing industrial parks.  The EAs evaluated the potential environmental impacts resulting from the construction of these facilities.
