Twin Creeks Resort and Marina Section 26a Approval

In May 2019, TVA completed a Supplemental Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for approval and modifications to a Section 26a permit for Twin Creeks Resort and Marina on Tims Ford Reservoir in Franklin County, TN. TVA previously evaluated the construction of the resort and marina under the January 2017 Twin Creeks Resort and Marina on Tims Ford Reservoir Section 26A Approval Final EA and issued a FONSI on February 9, 2017. Construction under the 2017 EA addressed Phase I of the Section 26a permit. The SEA evaluated the applicant’s request for approval under Section 26a for Phase II of the marina development and commercial recreation facilities.

The property is on Tims Ford Reservoir at Boiling Fork Creek mile 2.4 in Franklin County, Tennessee. The proposed commercial marina and resort development would provide camping and boating recreational opportunities for the general public on Tims Ford Reservoir and is consistent with TVA’s land management policies.
