Bud Crockett-Henderson 161-kV Transmission Line Final Environmental Assessment

Chester and Henderson Counties, Tennessee

On April 15, 2024, TVA issued a final environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact for its proposed transmission improvements to increase electric power reliability in the Lexington and Jacks Creek area by constructing, operating, and maintaining a 15.83-mile 161-kilovolt transmission line. The transmission line will be constructed on approximately 192 acres of new 100-foot-right-of-way. TVA will purchase easements that provide the necessary rights to construct, operate, and maintain the proposed transmission line route.

The EA evaluated the anticipated environmental impacts of the construction and operation of the transmission line.
