Economic Development Grant Proposal for the Rialto Industrial Park

Tipton County, Tennessee

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has completed an environmental assessment (EA) and issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for a proposed economic development grant through TVA InvestPrep funds to the Covington Industrial Development Board to assist with the development of the Rialto Industrial Park.  The area of TVA’s proposed action comprises approximately 165 acres of land located on agricultural upland flats south of the Hatchie River just north of Covington, Tennessee east of United States Highway 51. TVA funds would be used for rough grading of the Project Area to improve stormwater drainage and for stabilization after grading is complete within the Rialto Industrial Park.
