Revisions to the Tims Ford Reservoir Land Management Plan

TVA has completed a final environmental assessment (EA) addressing the environmental impacts of proposed revisions to its Tims Ford Reservoir Land Management Plan (RLMP). The revisions are the result of TVA’s review of the suitable uses of parcels through its land planning process. With the final EA, TVA issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI).

The final RLMP has not been approved and the release of the final EA and FONSI are not decisions. Please email [email protected] to be notified when the final RLMP has been approved and published.

The final RLMP will update the 2000 Tims Ford Reservoir Land RLMP to address legacy issues as well as update the land use allocations to current standards and respond to changes in conditions and circumstances. After conducting public scoping in summer 2024, TVA issued the draft RLMP and EA for public review and comment in summer 2025. TVA appreciates the public’s interest in this process. Responses to public comments on the draft RLMP and EA are included in the final EA as Appendix A.
