Proposed 26a Permit for Community Water-Use Facilities to Homestead Homeowners Association on Chickamauga Reservoir

TVA is considering a 26a permit request from Homestead Homeowners Association to construct community facilities, on Chickamauga Reservoir at Tennessee River Mile 489.5 (left bank), lat/long 35.2837, -85.0791 in Hamilton County, Tennessee.  The community facilities would include four multislip facilities, launching ramps, retaining wall stabilization, riprap stabilization, footbridge, and canoe launch to serve backlying residential development.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties and to identify any other issues associated with this request prior to making a permit decision. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
