Proposed Public Recreation Easement on Pin Oak Reservoir

TVA is considering a request for a public recreation easement over approximately 1,752 acres on Pin Oak Reservoir at Brown Creek, in Henderson County, Tennessee. The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has requested a thirty-year term easement for the continued operations of Natchez Trace State Park. The park consists of a campground, rental cabins, bathhouses, boat ramp, day use area, pier, a hiking trail, roads, and associated parking areas. 

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection. All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before October 18, 2021. Written comments may be mailed to the address below or emailed to [email protected].
