Proposed Section 26a Permit for Modifications to Fall Creek Marina and Campground on Cherokee Reservoir

TVA is considering a Section 26a permit request from CLM of CA, LLC to install new marina infrastructure and to expand the harbor limits at Fall Creek Marina and Campground. Approximately 3 acres of additional harbor limit is being requested which will make the total harbor area 23.2 acres.  The new marina infrastructure will include a floating boat slip 912’x60’, two floating walkways (250’x6’ and 260’x6’) and two parking areas (260’x82’ and 155’x63’).  The project is located on Cherokee Reservoir at Holston River Mile 35.5 (left bank) (36.28811, -83.22345), in Hamblen County, Tennessee.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request prior to making a permit decision. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
