Proposed Section 26a Permit for a New Marina on Nickajack Reservoir

TVA is considering a request by West End Property, LLC for a Section 26a permit for a new commercial marina and associated harbor on Nickajack Reservoir. The proposal includes a full-service floating, partially covered marina which includes two restaurants, ship store, fuel, and utilities. The marina harbor limits will be 150 feet by 3073 feet.  The location is on Tennessee River Mile 463L in Hamilton County, Tennessee.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request.  Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.  All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before May 13, 2023.  All written comments may be mailed to the address below or e-mailed to [email protected].
