Proposed Section 26a Permit for Modifications to Gator Point Marina on Douglas Reservoir

TVA is considering a Section 26a permit application from Gator Point Enterprises, LLC, to install additional boat slips and reconfigure the harbor limits at Gator Point Marina.  Currently, the harbor limits encompass 4.87 acres; the reconfiguration will encompass 4.76 acres. A Section 26a permit approval will increase commercial recreation opportunities on Douglas Reservoir.  The project is located at French Broad River Mile 35.5 (left bank), lat/long 35.94268, -83.48949, in Jefferson County, Tennessee.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment and/or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request prior to making a permit decision.  Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.  All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before June 29, 2024.  Written comments may be mailed to the address below or emailed to [email protected].
