Proposed Section 26a Permit for Modifications to Jays Dock on Boone Reservoir

TVA is considering a Section 26a permit application from Jay’s Dock to construct infrastructure to support sewage disposal for approved and existing facilities.  Section 26a permit approval of these facilities will decrease the potential for sewage release into Boone Reservoir. The project is located on Boone Reservoir at Watauga River Mile 5.5 (left bank) (36.4170884, -82.380921), in Washington County, Tennessee.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request prior to making a permit decision. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
