Proposed Section 26a Permit for Modifications to True North Marina, LLC on Chatuge Reservoir

TVA is considering a Section 26a permit request from True North Marina, LLC to modify the previous permit.  Modifications include adjustments to Docks A-C.  Additional amenities requested include a pavilion, sidewalks, boardwalk, beach area, retaining wall, steps, and underground utilities.  Harbor limits will not be modified.  The project is located on Chatuge Reservoir at Hiwassee River Mile 121R, 35.027490, -83.73784, in Clay County, North Carolina.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties and to identify any other issues associated with this request prior to making a permit decision. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
