Powering Economic Growth
Celebrating Booming Business
The word is out.
As TVA President and CEO Don Moul said during a recent fiscal year kickoff event: “The world has figured out that the Tennessee Valley region is a great place to live, work and play.”
That sentiment is increasingly reflected in the growing number of businesses choosing to relocate or expand within TVA’s seven-state service area.
From July through September, the region welcomed an array of businesses, each drawn by the competitive advantages that TVA offers, including reliable, resilient and affordable energy.
Behind this momentum is TVA’s Economic Development team, working hand in hand with local and state partners to strengthen the region’s economic vitality.
“Economic Development is tied to TVA’s mission of service, and it’s a core part of who we are,” John Bradley, TVA Economic Development senior vice president, said. “Our Economic Development team is incredibly passionate about carrying out that mission and ensuring that we support our communities effectively.”
That work hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Site Selection Magazine recognized TVA as a top utility for economic development for the 20th consecutive year.
With its community partners, TVA celebrates the companies investing in the region and the bright future they’re helping build.
