Met all-time high peak demand Jan. 22 with 35,430 MW
$13.7 billion FY 2025 operating revenue
Residential rates lower than 80% of the top 100 U.S. utilities. Industrial rates 90% lower than top 100 U.S. utilities.

More than 10,600 employees serving the seven-state region
59% of TVA employees represented by 17 unions
TVA employees gave more than 10,500 hours of volunteer service

$4.2 billion in planned investments in new generation and existing power system, including transmission, in FY 2026
More than 1,260 homes completed in Home Uplift – Average $11,188 in energy efficient upgrades per home

In FY 2025, TVA had more than 6,200 MW of new generation planned, with 3,770 MW under construction.

Powerful Partnerships

TVA stands at the forefront of America’s advancements in nuclear energy. Its bold partnerships and national leadership continue to drive the nation’s nuclear renaissance, with groundbreaking collaborations with federal, state and private industry partners throughout FY 2025.

Financial Strength

TVA is building for the future. Following its FY 2025 investment of more than $4.6 billion, TVA plans to invest $4.2 billion in FY 2026 on new generation and existing power system assets, including transmission. Over the next three fiscal years, TVA expects to invest a total of $11 billion.

Operational Excellence

Amid one of the most significant investment and expansion periods in its history, TVA is also investing heavily in mainstays across its generating fleet, including nuclear, hydro and coal plants. Life extension projects ensure generating units operate with peak efficiency for years to come.

Igniting Innovation

From a state-of-the-art System Operations Center to comprehensive grid-supporting technologies, TVA works to ensure reliable transmission and generation flexibility. Collaboration among teams and with partners supports the launch of new technology and powers economic development.

Leadership

For every new megawatt TVA adds to the grid, Environment and Stewardship teams evaluate the potential impacts. The teams manage 293,000 acres of public land and 11,000 miles of shoreline, working with partners to care for the natural attractions that drive population growth and bolster economic development.
