Pilot Project Tour: Economic Solutions Through Solar Innovation
Join us to tour the Cheatham County School District’s solar array, which focuses on creating greater resiliency and provides project-based learning opportunities for the district’s Career and Technical Education program. You’ll also enjoy a lunch served by the high school’s hospitality program.
Welcome Reception and Connected Communities Expo
Connect with your peers and take a journey through our Connected Communities Expo. Venture down Broadband Boulevard, Economic Empowerment Expressway, Resiliency Road and Environmental Justice Lane. Within each of these focus area-themed “streets” you’ll have the opportunity to visit pilot project teams to hear about their work and lessons learned, and you’ll be able to test drive the resources available to assess your community’s needs and support work toward achieving your goals.

Welcome: Community Collaboration to Prepare for the Future
Get your day started with some inspiration! Join us to learn from TVA leadership about how the energy system is changing and how TVA’s collaboration with communities aligns with TVA’s mission and priorities. Also hear from federal and state leaders about how community collaborative efforts are improving equity and creating pathways for a more economically and environmentally sustainable future.

Solar for All: Understanding the Opportunity
Under the $7 billion Solar for All program, states and non-profit administrators will distribute funds to advance solar energy installations and workforce development to benefit low-income communities. Program planning is underway. Learn about the various forms this funding may take throughout the service area and discover how to identify collaboration opportunities to enhance your community’s outcomes in this space.
