Gas Pipeline Easement on Fort Loudoun Reservoir

TVA is considering a request to grant a permanent easement over approximately 2 acres on Fort Loudoun Reservoir at Tennessee River, Knob Creek Mile 637.6 (left and right bank) in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Knoxville Utility Board has requested an easement for installation and operation of a natural gas pipeline to serve the University of Tennessee.  TVA is seeking public comment prior to deciding on the easement.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request.  Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.  All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before March 1, 2015.  Written comments may be mailed to the address below or emailed to [email protected].  For additional information please contact:
