Deed Modification and Commercial Recreation Easement on Watts Bar Reservoir

March 9, 2020--TVA is considering a request for deed modification over approximately 9.8 acres and a 30-year commercial recreation easement over approximately 24.6 acres on Watts Bar Reservoir at the mouth of King Creek at Tennessee River mile 552.9, in Roane County, Tennessee.  The City of Rockwood has requested the deed modification to allow for commercial recreation use of property adjacent to Tom Fuller Memorial Park.  Blue Ridge Development, LLC has requested the term commercial recreation easement and Section 26a permit to construct and operate a commercial campground and marina with approximately 10.3 acres of harbor limits.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
