Permanent Easement Request on Fort Loudoun Reservoir for the Tennessee Department of Transportation

TVA is considering a request for a permanent easement over approximately 2.9 acres (35°51’60” N 83°57’34” W) on Fort Loudoun Reservoir at Little River Mile 4.0 L, in Blount County, Tennessee. The Tennessee Department of Transportation has requested the permanent easement to widen Alcoa Highway (State Route 115), extend Riverlake Lane, construct a new interchange with Topside Rd., and construct a multi-use greenway.  

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties and to identify any other issues associated with this request prior to granting a deed modification and easement. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
