Proposed Deed Modification on Watts Bar Reservoir for Great Escapes Campground

TVA is considering a deed modification request from Great Escapes LLC over approximately 10.9 acres on Watts Bar Reservoir at Tennessee River Mile 584.1 (left bank) (35.761551, -84.383935) in Loudon County, Tennessee. TVA is also considering an associated Section 26a application request at this location. The proposal includes abandoning certain deeded flowage easement rights and Section 26a authorization to install shoreline stabilization, floating playground, floating courtesy docks, and other land based recreational facilities.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties and to identify any other issues associated with this request. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
