Proposed Deed Modifications and Section 26a Permit on Chickamauga Reservoir

TVA is considering a deed modification request from William Thomas over approximately 8.15 acres on Chickamauga Reservoir. TVA is also considering an associated Section 26a application request at this location. The proposal includes abandoning certain deeded  restrictions and the construction of an access road. This project is located at Hiwassee River Mile 14.3 (right bank) (35.330187, -84.804190) in McMinn County, Tennessee.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties and to identify any other issues associated with this request prior to making a permit decision. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
