Proposed Easement and Section 26a Permit for the Expansion of an Existing Commercial Marina on Norris Reservoir

TVA is considering a request from Sequoyah Marina, LLC to grant a 30-year commercial recreation easement over approximately 5.82 acres on Norris Reservoir at Clinch River Mile 83.8 (left bank), in Anderson County, Tennessee. The request will replace an existing agreement the operator has with TVA to occupy 6.5 acres for land-based facilities.

TVA is also considering a Section 26a application request at this location for additional marina infrastructure and the expansion of harbor limits for Sequoyah Marina on Norris Reservoir.  If the requests are approved, Sequoyah Marina, LLC will be permitted to expand and reconfigure their existing marina infrastructure and floating cabin mooring space.  The proposal will increase the existing harbor limits by eight acres to a total of 29.5 acres for water-based facilities.
