Proposed Easement at Sugar Hollow Park on Beaver Creek Reservoir for Washington County Service Authority

TVA is considering a request to grant a permanent easement on Beaver Creek Reservoir at Sugar Hollow Park (36°38’48”N, 82°06’14”W) in both Bristol and Washington Counties, Virginia. Washington County Service Authority has requested land rights over approximately 6.6 acres for the installation of sewer piping, force mains, and lift stations to improve and expand services to additional customers in the area. TVA is seeking public comment prior to deciding on the easement request.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
