Proposed Easement on Kentucky Reservoir for the Tennessee Department of Transportation
January 25, 2022
TVA is considering a request to grant a permanent road easement for a bridge improvement project on Kentucky Reservoir at Duck River Mile 11.7 (36°2’38.62”N, 87°51’12.78”W) in Humphreys County, Tennessee. The Tennessee Department of Transportation has requested land rights over approximately 2.2 acres to replace the existing one-lane Bakerville Road bridge with a new two-lane bridge located immediately downstream. The existing bridge will remain open during construction and will be removed when construction is complete. TVA is seeking public comment prior to deciding on the easement request.
TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before February 25, 2022.
