Proposed Section 26a for a Commercial Marina on Watts Bar Reservoir

TVA is considering a Section 26a application request by Tennessee National LLC (TNLLC) to convert their previously approved private facility to a commercial marina.  If the request for a Section 26a permit is approved, TNLLC will be permitted to add a ship store, construct all facilities as approved in the previously issued permit, and ensure the public has open access to the marina.  There will be no change in the size or location of the harbor limits.  The project location is Tennessee River Mile 583.1R (35°46’ 3.3788”N, 84°23’49.524”W) on Watts Bar Reservoir in Loudon County, Tennessee.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request.  Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.  All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before October 8, 2021.  Written comments may be mailed to the address below or e-mailed to [email protected].
