Proposed Section 26a Permit for Modifications to an Existing Commercial Marina on Tellico Reservoir

TVA is considering a Section 26a application request from Tellico Marina Company, LLC to increase their marina’s infrastructure and expand their harbor limits.  If the request for a Section 26a permit is approved, Tellico Marina Company, LLC will be permitted to add a land-based dry stack storage building, a fixed land-based deck, a retaining wall, channel excavation, and additional slips to the existing marina infrastructure.  To accommodate these new facilities, Tellico Marina Company, LLC is requesting an expansion of the harbor limits.  The project is located on Tellico Reservoir at Little Tennessee River Mile 201.0 (right bank) (35° 60' 37.9"N, 84° 19' 73.6"W), in Monroe County, Tennessee.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties and to identify any other issues associated with this request prior to making a permit decision. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
