Public meetings schedule and information

TVA invites public engagement in the IRP process through multiple venues, including in-person public meetings, virtual meetings and public comment periods.

TVA has received input during quarterly TVA Board listening sessions, at RERC meetings and during informational IRP webinars.

We want to hear from residents and communities around the region. Your insights and opinions are vital as we plan how TVA will meet future power demand.

We are now entering the next phase of the process, with the draft IRP and EIS published on Sept. 23, 2024. We want the public to understand what’s in the documents and ask us questions, so we are holding two webinars and 10 in-person meetings across the region during the public comment period, which runs through Dec. 11, 2024.

Draft 2025 IRP Open House Schedule

TVA will host two webinars and 10 in-person meetings across the service territory from Oct. 28 through Dec. 5. The 10 in-person open houses will be held in the cities listed below (6:00 p.m. local time), with the presentation beginning at 6:15 p.m. Two virtual options will also be offered.
