About the data

This dashboard displays river elevations at 11 cities along the Tennessee River and its tributaries. Elevations are reported in feet above mean sea level and updated daily by TVA.

The first column shows today's Observed midnight elevation. The remaining columns show Forecast predicted midnight elevations for the next three days.

Reading the trends

Each city shows a trend badge indicating the overall direction from today through the forecast period:

↑ Rising Elevation is increasing — water levels are going up.

↓ Falling Elevation is decreasing — water levels are dropping.

→ Stable Elevation change is less than 0.05 ft.
