2025 Existing Generation Resource Request for Proposal Notice: Firm Capacity and Energy

TVA is seeking capacity and energy proposals between 50 MW to 1000 MW beginning in October 2025 through December 2030. Proposals must be submitted by May 21, 2025. All proposals must be submitted through Power Advocate. The RFP is listed as solicitation event 232553: 2025 Capacity RFP.

2025 Resource Solicitation Cluster RFP (2025 RSC RFP)

TVA is interested in procuring Power Purchase Agreements and/or Energy Storage Agreements (cumulatively PPAs) to provide Energy Resource attributes such as energy, capacity, associated ancillary services, and environmental attributes to TVA. Proposed Energy Resources must be interconnected to TVA facilities and subject to TVA’s Large Generator Interconnection Procedure (LGIP). TVA sought resources identified in TVA’s resource plan may be studied alongside those Energy Resources selected for progression to a PPA via this upcoming RFP.
