TVA Requests Offers to Assist With Implementation of Distribution-Level Grid Resilience Projects
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Engineering Services to provide professional services as a technical advisor and compliance partner. TVA and its affiliated Local Power Companies (LPCs) in Mississippi are participating as sub-recipients in a federally funded grant under Section 40101(c) of the Grid Resilience and Innovation Partnership Program, supported by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). These LPCs, as distribution entities purchasing power from TVA, will rely on the selected engineering and consulting firm(s) to help plan, design, and implement distribution-level grid resilience projects. The grant-funded activities will focus on enhancing system reliability, efficiency, and security while meeting all federal compliance requirements. TVA intends to post the RFP by the end of January 2025 on the Power Advocate website: Wood Mackenzie Supply Chain - Login. If you have any questions or would like access to the event, please email David Bratcher at [email protected].
